The spaceThe house is filled with antiques, and each item has been hand picked. If you appreciate history and antiques, then I think you will love this space. The house backs to a creek which is quite loud in the kitchen when it is running. The house may be quirky, but it is full of books, games, comfort and love.
Guest accessThe unfinished basement is locked, and there is also a basement apartment that is locked from both sides. In the basement, the only parts accessible are the bathroom and the kitchen, most of the time, you will be upstairs (actually ground level).
Additional notesThe basement apartment is often rented long term to travel nurses (mostly working nights on weekends). If you need a larger space and it is available, let me know about renting the entire house.
Guest interactionAlthough I live about an hour away, I am always available via text or phone if you should need me.
Neighborhood overviewThe neighborhood is perfect, you are the first single family on the left from Main St (and HWY 49) then continuing up the street are a lot of amazing homes. You are a block from the Amador Museum, 2 blocks from the Pioneer Cemetery and about a block from Main St. and all it offers. There is grocery shopping and most everything nearby. Plus close to all the wineries of Amador Co. PARKING: there is a driveway which is not level (a future project) and you need to back into. If you are not comfortable with that, you can park on the street or in the parking lots. If it is crowded by the house, there is usually plenty of parking further up the street as well.
